Hi! My name
is Miss Soto and I am going to be your Kindergarten Teacher! I have been
teaching at Meadowlark Elementary for four years. This is my third year
teaching kindergarten, but before I taught fun loving five year old's, I
was a first grade teacher in Gillette and in Salt Lake, Utah.
I grew up
in Alliance, Nebraska, which is only about 4 hours from Gillette and the home
of CARHENGE. I attended Black Hills State in Spearfish, SD, where I majored in
Elementary Education with and minor in Early Childhood Education. I love going
back to Spearfish to visit friends and enjoy the hills.
This summer
I was very busy with the DIRTY FUN summer science program and had little time to relax. However, I did get my very cute
and sometimes naughty pooch Rupert. Rupert is a Shih Tzu-Bichon mix and thinks
he is quite the guard dog.
I hope that
you and your family enjoyed your summer vacation and are ready to start your first
full days of school!
